i like dover thrift editions. on thursday, i bought the journey to the center of the earth, the time machine, the waste land, prufrock, and other poems, haiku: an anthology, selected poems: emily dickinson, selected poems: walt whitman, the raven and other favorite poems, tao te ching, heart of darkness, poetics, and the turn of the screw. i am very happy i spent only $22 US on such a treasureload. i also helped clean out my family's storage here in LA. the old journals that i found were funny. i liked their concise writing; that is why i am emulating their style.
